How to Set Up a Crypto Wallet

Install Browser Extension

  • Click "Add to Chrome" (or your browser name)
  • Click "Add Extension" in the pop-up
  • Wait for installation to complete

Creating a Wallet

  • Click the MetaMask icon in the top right corner of your browser
  • Select "Create a new wallet"
  • Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
Note: This password can be reset if forgotten, but only if you have your Secret Recovery Phrase

Saving Secret Recovery Phrase

  • Watch the brief security video
  • Click "Next" to view your Secret Recovery Phrase
  • Click "Start" to reveal the 12 words
  • Write these words down on paper in exact order
  • Double-check spelling of each word
  • Keep your backup phrase in a secure, physical location
Note: Never store your phrase digitally or share it with anyone

  • Select each word in the correct order to confirm
  • Click "Complete Backup"

Getting Your Wallet Address

  • Click on the long number at the top of MetaMask
  • Your address will be copied automatically
  • Send this address in a separate window when paying by card.

Adding Networks

  • Open MetaMask and go to "Networks" in the top left corner.
  • Click "BNB Chain Add".
  • Click "Approve".
  • Click “Switch to BNB Chain”.

Fund Your Wallet

  • Buy cryptocurrency (USDC, BNB, USDT, etc.) on an exchange like Binance or Coinbase.
  • Transfer the crypto to your wallet in BNB Smart Chain.
  • Keep a small amount of the BNB token to cover transaction fees.
